METO supports its equipment from specification through delivery and operation. This page summarizes how warranty and after-sales support work. The warranty period, start date and exact scope for each project are stated in the sales contract, which prevails if it differs from this summary.
What the warranty covers
METO warrants that equipment it manufactures will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance, within the warranty period stated in the contract. If a covered defect is confirmed, METO will repair the equipment or supply replacement parts as agreed in the contract.
What is not covered
- Damage from misuse, improper operation or operation outside the specified pressure, temperature or capacity.
- Damage from installation, modification or repair not carried out according to METO’s instructions or without METO’s approval.
- Normal wear and consumable parts, such as gaskets, seals, filter media and gauges, unless the contract states otherwise.
- Damage caused by utilities, water quality or cleaning chemicals outside the specified requirements.
- Damage in transport or storage after risk has passed to the buyer, and events beyond reasonable control.
After-sales support
Depending on the equipment and project scope, our service team can provide:
- Remote technical guidance and remote diagnostics.
- Commissioning support and operator training, including operating and maintenance advice.
- Spare-parts coordination and preventive-maintenance recommendations.
- Upgrade and retrofit recommendations as production needs change.
- On-site service for overseas projects, arranged by agreement.

How to make a warranty or support request
- Contact us by email or WhatsApp using the details below.
- Include your company name, the contract or order number, the equipment model and a description of the issue.
- Send photos or short videos, operating parameters, and any alarm messages from the control panel.
- Our engineers review the information, usually begin with remote diagnosis, and confirm the corrective action, such as adjustment, repair or replacement parts.
Records and documentation
Inspection and test records prepared during manufacturing and factory acceptance help us trace each project, and we use them when reviewing a warranty claim. Buyers can request copies of applicable certificates and documents during project review.
