Utilities: Service Water + Glycol Cooling System

Stable utilities are what keep production predictable. This package includes insulated 70HL water tanks, 120HL glycol tank, and dual 20HP chillers designed for -5°C glycol operation.

Service Water Tanks (Capacity per Approved BOM)

Hot water, cold water and RO storage capacities, dimensions, insulation and pump duties are confirmed from the approved water balance and site layout. The final BOM is the source of truth for effective volume and connection sizes.

Commercial Glycol Cooling System (Capacity per Approved BOM)

Glycol tank effective volume, chiller duty, pump flow, insulation and distribution loops are calculated from the confirmed 35HL cellar load and ambient conditions. Final values are stated in the approved cooling calculation and vendor selection sheet.

Commercial CIP Cleaning System (Final Capacity per Approved BOM)

A dedicated CIP station improves product safety and shortens downtime between batches. This configuration supports alkaline, acid, sterile water, and hot water cycles with sanitary pumps and pneumatic valve routing.

Alkaline, acid, sterile water and hot water tank volumes, heating areas, pump duties, valve routing and return strategy are confirmed in the approved CIP process design. This removes conflicting reference capacities from the page.

Buyer Tip

Choose 35HL when regional or contract production requires a mixed-size cellar, automated process control and planned packaging and utility expansion.

35HL Capacity for Regional and Contract Brewing

At 35HL, cellar mix and packaging strategy determine whether brewhouse capacity is used efficiently. Combining single-batch and double-batch fermenters can support different product volumes, but tank counts, glycol load and CIP capacity must be calculated from the confirmed portfolio and production calendar.

FAQ — 3500L Brewery Equipment (Engineering & Procurement)

Answers for engineering and procurement teams evaluating a 3500L brewery equipment project.

Annual output depends on brews per day, operating days, sellable yield, fermentation time and available cellar volume. METO provides a project-specific production model instead of using the same annual range for every system size.

The tank mix follows sales volume by SKU, fermentation time, conditioning requirements and packaging batches. METO models the cellar and cooling load before fixing the ratio of 35HL and 70HL tanks.

The cellar is calculated from batch size, brews per day, fermentation and conditioning time, SKU mix and packaging schedule. Single- and double-batch tanks can be combined when the production calendar supports that approach.

Steam heating is normally preferred for commercial multi-brew operation. The boiler and steam distribution are sized from the verified heating area, target cycle time and local fuel availability.

Confirm power, steam, brewing water, water treatment, glycol conditions, compressed air where required, drainage, ventilation, site access and the available factory layout.

Yes. The design can reserve cellar space, glycol headers, control capacity, process piping and packaging connections for future expansion.

Manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic options are available. Final functions can include recipe control, flow and level monitoring, valve interlocks, alarms, data history and automated CIP.

Staffing depends on automation, brews per day, cellar handling and packaging scope. METO reviews the operating workflow instead of promising one staffing number for every project.

Yes. Support can include process review, layout, utilities, equipment manufacturing, documentation, installation guidance, commissioning, training and long-term technical support.
