These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of this website and to enquiries and quotations for equipment and services supplied by Shandong METO Beer Equipment Co., Ltd. (“METO”, “we”, “us”). Equipment sales are governed by a written sales contract between METO and the buyer; if these Terms conflict with the signed contract, the contract prevails.

1. Website use

The content on this website is provided for general information about METO’s brewery, distillery, kombucha, winery, fermentation and stainless steel processing equipment. Specifications, capacities, dimensions, photographs and drawings are illustrative. Final specifications are confirmed in the written quotation, technical agreement or contract for each project. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to disrupt it, or copy its content for commercial use without our written permission.

2. Enquiries and quotations

A quotation is prepared from the information you provide, such as target product, capacity, available space, utilities and schedule. It is an estimate based on that information and is valid for the period stated in the quotation. A quotation or enquiry does not create a binding order. An order is formed only when both parties sign a sales contract or METO confirms an order in writing.

3. Custom engineering and approval of drawings

Most METO equipment is made to order. Layout drawings, process diagrams, equipment lists and technical clarifications are prepared for buyer review. Production starts after the buyer has confirmed the agreed technical scope in writing. Changes requested after confirmation may affect price, delivery time or both and are handled as written change requests.

4. Prices and payment

Prices, currency, taxes, bank charges and payment schedule are stated in the quotation and the sales contract. Unless the contract says otherwise, prices do not include import duties, local taxes, site preparation, utilities connection or local permits at the destination.

5. Production, inspection and acceptance

METO applies documented controls from incoming-material inspection through fabrication, assembly, testing and final acceptance. Inspection and pressure-testing requirements are defined for each project, and the acceptance criteria and any buyer attendance or remote review of factory acceptance testing are agreed in the contract. See our Quality Assurance page for the general process.

6. Delivery, packing and risk

Delivery terms, packing, shipping method and the point at which risk transfers are defined in the contract using the agreed trade terms. Delivery dates are scheduled from the confirmed technical scope and receipt of the agreed payment or documents, and are updated in writing if the scope or buyer inputs change.

7. Installation, commissioning and training

The scope of installation supervision, commissioning guidance and operator training is stated in the contract. The buyer is responsible for site readiness, including foundations, utilities (power, water, steam or heating, compressed air, drainage), access and local compliance, according to the information METO provides.

8. Warranty and after-sales support

Warranty and after-sales terms are described on our Warranty & After-Sales Support page and detailed in the sales contract.

9. Intellectual property

Website content, designs, drawings, process diagrams, trademarks and logos remain the property of METO or its licensors. Drawings and technical documents supplied for a project are provided for the buyer’s use of that project and may not be passed to third parties for manufacturing equipment without METO’s written consent.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties treat non-public technical, commercial and project information received from the other as confidential and use it only for the project. How we handle personal data collected through this website is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, METO is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, production or business, and its total liability relating to a supply is limited to the amount stated in the sales contract. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, government action, transport disruption or supply shortages. The affected party will notify the other promptly and make reasonable efforts to resume performance.

13. Governing law and disputes

The governing law and the method of resolving disputes are specified in the sales contract. We encourage both parties to resolve any disagreement through good-faith discussion first.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with its date, applies to use of the website from that date. Equipment supplied under a signed contract remains governed by that contract.
